vp4 - I totally understand about the reminders and him ignoring you. My 19 year old is a bit distracted and forgetful. DH drove to NC to move her out of college and helped her move some of her stuff to a storage facility. They packed the car with the first load and headed out. She realized she didn't have her phone, they drove back and she got it. Got back in the car and drove 20 min to the storage facility. She didn't have the key. Drove back to the dorm. Thank God I was not there, I would have lost it. Luckily, DH (who is also sometimes a bit scattered), shrugged it off. They both laughed and talked about how fortunate it wasn't me moving her out.
If you yell only for a minute, you are better man than me. It drives me crazy and cAn really put me in a funk.......
And yes, I get "I know", "you don't have to tell me" and similar comments all the time. I just get so tired of being everyone's working memory and executive functioning system.
All I can say is breathe and find the humor.

FLVS. My son isn't doing it for credit recovery but to accelerate the curriculum a little so he can take tougher classes starting next year. My point is that a lot of the kids can do the online course because they did it for credit recovery and they already knew the material.. You know you son...in my case, I knew if I did not "teach" DD, it would be a waste of time as she wouldn't benefit from anything. DD used last summer to prepare for the school year...I "participated" in her round table discussion, hence I knew many of the students already knew the material...We registered with vhs, she was given daily web pages to read...which could be difficult even for regular ed kid ...
