Hi All,
I talked to our doc. re dosage today following the issues we had been having (see "Here's a strange one" thread 11/3).
He has suggested (or agreed with me!) that as we have 18mg's we try splitting morning and afternoon. One before school and one as soon as he gets home. That way the dose is lowered and we stand a chance of getting through the day.
As we have four days off school now we're going to start tomorrow and see what happens.
Do you think that is worth a try?
Wish us luck..........

Good idea to try this over a school break. I think a break and going a little lower is best, you'll be covering both bases so why not 18 and 18? If you notice him slacking at school, I do the bigger dose in the morning of 25mgs, then after school he gets a 10mgs. My son is 57lbs and I have gone a little higher and lower and tried different splits. This is our best recipe. The 25 has good effectiveness during school hours, That 10mg dose seems small but it packs a whallop, almost seems to wake up some of that morning dose. Homework is a breeze, dinner delightful and bedtime...well thats still bedtime!
I get the best feedback on this advice and I have given it to many people, thats why I keep on giving it. I hope we hear the same from you.
