It has happend twice now, where I wrote a post and somehow it does not appear in my thread.
Now this morning I have post, and it says" Posting Error The following errors were found with your post:
The subject you entered was too long. Your subject may not be longer than 50 characters. The subject you entered was 51 characters. Huh, not sure I was deleting things but it still will not let me post reply.
Is there something wrong that I am doing? Thanks.

The only time that would happen is if the subject line had more words than the system allows. Did you post with a new subject? To avoid losing your long posts, you could post it first, then go back and do modify, and continue and post and modify and continue again etc after a few paragraphs, if the system is not accepting long posts from you. Or you could do a copy and paste it to Word in the event you did lost the post when your tried to post.
Since this is proboards, I don't have the ability to mess around with their system. It could be they had an issue or it could very well be how your PC interacts with their servers.
I am sorry you had to retype your long posts.

alyssasmom, try again. It might just be a temporarily glitch. Proboards have been upgrading servers so it might be affecting things.

I figured. I think because they are upgrading servers some times things just get weird.

I did just that, cut and paste from word and that worked. After that I had no problems, must have been a strange glitch.
