Here is my sad attempt to gather and post the info from our little Strattera poll we took on the Medication Board. You will now see why I never ending up in the research field LOL! The main differentiating factor that struck me is that the "didn't works" had significant more comorbid disorder ratio and were using multiple meds. Please fell free to reply with your own observations. DIDN'T WORK 13 posts said Strattera DIDN"T WORK 12 were ADHD, 5 severe, 1 mild. 6 moderate 1 was ADD, mild 11 had coexisting disorders, 3 Tics, 3 anxiety, 3 deprssn, 1 ODD, 1 multiple 5 were taking multiple (more than 1) strong medications in conjunction with the Strat, including asthma, allergy and psychotropics.
DID WORK 16 posts said Stratterra DID WORK 12 ADHD, 5 severe, 7 moderate 4 ADD, 1 severe, 3 moderate 9 coexisting disorders, 3 tics, 3 depression, 2 biolar/manic, 2 ODD 3 were taking 1 other med, 1 was taking multiple meds in conjuntion
Did I miss anything?
PS It seemed like there was so many more bad experiences before I started sorting all this out. Keep in mind that the people this didn't work for were very frustraited and disappointed and I noticed had posted multiple times. But the actual tally showed a different story than my intial perspective.
