S :-/Mayleng As you suggested on SchwabLearning: (socal, you are registered but shows you have not activated it. Do you still have your activation key? Try again. If you cannot do it for some reason, post over at MM under the registration problem (don't need to be a member to do that), and I will sort it out. We might have to delete the profile and re-register again. I don't know why you have this problem) I never get to a point where I can enter an activation key. Yikes! This is SOOOOOOO less than fun.

Hi SoCalGal...Your question got me thinking that I never saw any activation key, but I've been able to post regardless.... I just checked my "member profile" it says I'm "not activated." It gives me a place with red lettering where I can chose "activate now," but I'm wondering why I need to bother?

healthy, if you are "activated" then you will be able to receive Mass emails (If I ever send one out). Proboards is always incorporating new things.

By the way SoCal, did you "log in" when you wanted to post? (just making sure I cover all the bases).

SoCal, as I mentioned at schwab, I have deleted your profile, so try doing it again. Don't activate, and just log in, see if that works. The log in button is in the first orange ban, top right hand corner.

Mayleng: I know this has been a huge headache for you but somehow no matter what name I use, I never get the opportunity to enter an activation key from my home computer.
Catspaw is working, from my office computer but it would be better for me if I could log onto the site from home -- I hated to miss Baysmommy's friday night party for instance.
And I would like to post some college info under SoCalGal here on the site (stuff for first-generation, low income students) and IMO, it would be best if it appears under the same name on all of the sites.
Would it be possible to get the user name back, somehow? Not SoCalGal1, but SoCalGal?

socal, you can use the name socalgal (it appears to be all lower caps), it was still registered to you. However, if you want to re-register under SoCalGal, I have deleted the "socalgal" profile, so you can register under SoCalGal. For your information, this site is not Case sensitive.
Since you are having trouble with your home computer, you might want to do the registering at your office computer which seems to have no problems getting on to this site.
Ps, don't worry about activation key etc. it does not matter as it is not a requirement on this board. Even if you don't activate, you can still be a member.
Ps. I sent you an email.

So I can login from my office as socalgal -- THANX! But I can't from home. I'll have to figure out a way to see if it's a problem with my security. After that, I'm freakin' clueless...
