This is for members we were able to register and got their passwords but still cannot post because the system still says you are guests.
Believe it or not it happened to me last night. I had bought a new laptop (tired of fighting with husband for us of the pc when he is home). For some reason, this site did not like my new system.
So if you have changed your privacy setting to accept third party cookies and still cannot post, when you log it, tick the box that says "Always stay logged In". This should solve the problem. You have to do that everytime you log in to post.

Because Proboards has been upgraded, it now requires an activation to get back in here (the first time, unless you change your email address.) When you register, check back on your email to look for one with the activation code from Proboards.com. However, if your email address is either AOL or Verizon, you will have trouble receiving the email. AOL and Verizon have antispam software and will not permit the email to be received. We do not have control over this.
The only way to get back in is to use an alternative email address. You can get free ones from hotmail or gmail.
If any one have problems, pls let us know.

krisw, if you try registering again, the system will send you the activitation code to your email address (check your junk mail folder for it). However, I think msn.com is one of the providers we have problems sending the activation code to. It might be better if you have a new email address via hotmail (it is free) and use that instead.
Let us know if you have further problems.

With the board upgrade, I need to approve all new members before you officially become a member. Depending on how busy I am on a given day it could take me minutes or up to 24 hours to approve a new member.
I just approved both your registered names, tell me which one you would like to keep so that I may delete the other.
Thanks and welcome.

I have always had problems logging on since the upgrade. I log in and it tells me I'm not registered but then I click on home and suddenly I am me! I have just gotten used to doing it. Maybe it's some weird glitch. I just never brought it to your attention but others may have the same problem.

Thanks for letting me know Beverly. Don't know if there is anything I can do about that since the board technical management is done by Proboards.

Rachelmom, I pmed you privately. If you could pm me your hotmail address, I can modify your profile to the hotmail account. I see a Rachelmom with an aol account registered (are you that person - pls email me the aol address so I can verify that you are the same person before I modify your profile). If you are already a registered member as Rachelmom, you shouldn't need an activation code to get in again. Was the activation code you got for Rachelmom or another name?

Rachelsmom and Mayleng, I had so many problems trying to access this board from aol that I gave up months back.
I'm properly activated with full access from internet explorer, mozilla, etc. but not aol.

I know, aol gives everybody a huge problem. Even at schwab. They filter so much - what is the point if you can't have access to other sites.
