HI all, Need comments and or suggestions. We have these temporary buildings to house the 4th grade classes due to overcrowding. THey want to put my son in there as next yr he will be a 4th grader!! THe majority of classes are all up stairs and only one class on the ground level. With my sons physical and visual deficits this would be worse than awful and what if the teacher they choose for him is not the one on the ground floor class room. Cant I ask that the teachers switch so he can have the appropriate teacher and the safe classroom setting? OUR new VP (incharge of CSC and SPed ) says NO. Well, that was just a conversation and I already know that conversations dont happen, gett it in writting. SO I am AND I had this issue added to my ESY mtg on 26 of MAy. I know that most of my team will be there and am sure they will make VP see the light but, can any of you suggest sites of cases that I can use if he puts his foot down? THese bldgs do not have elevators. Also, today I will be going over to walk the building myself to get a better feel for this particular bld. We have 4 bldgs and I need to see for my self the 4th grade bldg. I hear that this one has stairs and a ramp to access but the kids need to cross the parking lot to get to the ramp/stairs, again , ugh! I wil also be checking the lighting in the classrooms and the bathroon access and lighting in there too. Thanks Snorkeler AKA Elastigirl
