I have this performance task which involves interviewing a parent who has a child with special needs. It focuses on the assessment process of the child; how the child's disability was identified and what tests were done in the process. 1) What is your child's classification? 2) When did you first notice your child has a disability? 3) How did you/the school handle it at first? 4) What procedures did you and your child undergo? 5) How did it affect your child? 6) What services are being implemented to your child now? 7) How did it feel throughout the whole process? Are you satisfied with the current services of the child?
Thank you so much

Welcome to our forum, antha129. Several other prospective school psychologists and special ed teachers have posed similar questions to parents over the years, and you can read about my son's story at millermom.proboards.com/thread/13329/future-teacher-parent-interviewIf you have additional questions afterwards, I'll be happy to try and answer them.
