Hi All,
I just finished this book by Sue Klebold, mother of Columbine Shooter Dylan Klebold. It is an eye opening look into the suicidal adolescent mind. It also put to rest lots of the speculation about why the shooting occurred. There are no easy answers or quick fixes. Parents can do everything "right" and still have things go terribly wrong.
However, I think a lot of us can relate to the times we have asked school personnel or "professionals" for help with our kids only to be let down or have the ball "dropped" so to speak. Law enforcement, mental health professionals and school staff were all working with the two shooters before the shooting. There was so much disconnect. Its definitely worth the read.
