Not sure how effective this is but... NEBA can help your clinician answer the question "Is it ADHD or something else?" NEBA is a medical device cleared by FDA to help clinicians more accurately determine if your child’s symptoms are due to ADHD or something else. It does this by measuring children's EEG activity (brainwaves) and seeing whether the EEG marker for ADHD is present. Cleared by FDA - The FDA says: "The NEBA System along with other clinical information may help health care providers more accurately determine if ADHD is the cause of a behavioral problem." Trusted by parents - Survey data from parents whose child has had the NEBA procedure show that NEBA provides the help parents are seeking. See the results at www.nebahealth.com/content/MRK0109_NEBA_parent_survey_report_20150707.pdfYou can also view parents describing their experience with NEBA at nebahealth.com/dr1.html

Healthy, thanks, this is how bad my memory is these days, I don't even remember posting it in the earlier thread.

Trust me, my memory isn't as sharp as it used to be, either! I just remembered past discussions on this topic of diagnosing ADHD, because there was a seminar I attended a few years back, about "Quotient" testing, which seemed like a very promising approach. I keep wondering if it will be recognized as a method to diagnose kids, as well. Goodness knows that any "tangible" way to identify kids with ADHD will be welcome news, since there are still people who don't believe that it's a real medical condition.
