Hi Bros, Hoping that you had a good weekend. Wondering if NJ got hit with "Bill"? We had lots of rain yesterday, but it finally cleared late afternoon. Not ideal for Father's Day cook outs, but we need it for the gardens.
Do you follow Baseball? The much hated Yankees seem to be having a good season. I haven't checked on the Mets. The Red Sox are having a terrible year - the second disastrous year in a row. My husband continues to watch, but I find it too painful. Baseball is slow enough as a game without prolonging the pain of loosing almost every night.
Off to my second to last IEP for the school year. Looking forward to having it over for a while!!
Feel well.

Had a bit of rain this weekend. Went to my cousin's house about 1.5 hours away because she graduated with her Master's in Speech Pathology. Didn't have any rain yesterday. Been tired all weekend. I take my chemotheraputic agent (Methotrexate) every thursday - it makes me tired Friday through Sunday, pretty much. If I don't show up here for a few days or forget to post something, I have a blog at www.IGotCancer.net - which I update every Monday and Wednesday - you can subscribe for email notifications when a new blog post is posted at the bottom of the page

Though I may not post as often, know you remain in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope you'll soon be feeling like your old self again shortly.

Bros - thanks for the link to your blog!
Regarding possible vacations - I vote for San Francisco or Seattle. Both are beautiful places. We went to Las Vegas in early June. It was so hot, we had a difficult time enjoying it. The surrounding areas are beautiful - Red Rock, Hoover Dam, day trip to Grand Canyon. But really, the 110+ days and 85+ nights were tough!
I visited my daughter in London this fall - LOVED it there if you can convince your mom to go out of the country!
Take care of yourself.

Went to Red Rock last time with my aunt - that was the only thing I could do after I had barely recovered from being sick almost the entire time. My dad and brother went to the Grand Canyon - my dad already saw it, so he never wants to go back. My mom and dad went to Hoover Dam, so since my dad already saw it, he never wants to go back there either.

Well then, sounds like you can take Vegas off the table and concentrate on San Fransico or Seattle! San Fran is one of my favorite cities - right behind Paris. So pretty, wonderful food, fun things to see and do, comfortable weather. I've only been to Seattle once - and I hope to go back and visit my college roommate.
On the East Coast I love Washington DC and Charleston, too. And of course, there is always Boston!!

My dad not wanting to go doesn't really matter - because half of us didn't get to see the things he got to see last time.

I personally think that Vegas is over rated. Better cooler climates and food in Seattle and SF.

I really liked reading your blog. You have such a good sense of humor. I hope you are feeling decent, but looking forward to a vacation sounds alike a good distraction.

Bros, it was good to see you posting in the thread about schools that aren't adapting to technology/are unwilling to teach computer programming, even though studies show that parents would like their kids to learn it. Separate from that, I hope you're doing okay health-wise. (Sorry, I haven't signed up for your blog to know...)

Doing okay. Went to local oncologist yesterday. NYC oncologist would like the numbers to be a bit better, if they aren't in a visit or two, he might want to alter course of treatment
