I am glad your doctor is thinking ahead! My cousin did this and had 3 children with the eggs she saved prior to treatment.

It was certainly an... interesting discussion with my parents.
Talked to my therapist about it, though - he phrased it as a just-in-case measure

Bros - I can imagine it was a bit uncomfortable - especially since it might not have been on your radar! For some reason I find it easier talking to my daughter about these things than I do my son - I am sure he would have felt very uncomfortable, too. Glad you were able to debrief with your therapist.

Better to act with an abundance of caution to preserve your options -- just in case. Sounds like you have a great team looking out for your future interests.

Had to go to the ER last night. Prednisone was increasing the amount of my PVCs, oncologist wanted me to go to the ER to get my heart checked.

Are you OK now? Is your heart OK?

My heart is still having PVCs, the prednisone is causing it, but the PVCs, as always, are benign. They don't want to change the treatment regimen, even though the prednisone tastes horrendous - but at least I have an anti-emetic now

Bros, I'm sorry to hear that you're having more PVC's, but I'm glad your heart is okay. When he was around age 10, my son was on prednisone after an allergic response/reaction to something. I recall it was administered in tablet form, which could be crushed and "buried" in applesauce or pudding, so taste wasn't an issue. Is the prednisone you're getting a liquid? I wonder if your doctor could utilize pills?

The PVC's must be a bit unsettling. Hope any nausea remains in check with the new medication.

Nah, i'm used to the PVCs and I have no palpitations. I only notied them yesterday when resting my hand on my chest trying to nap.
