My husband mentioned this, too, and it doesn't surprise me in the least...When my son was a colicky infant, and I felt super-stressed out, the Dr. suggested that taking an acetaminophen would be fine, even when I was still nursing. I wasn't sure if he recommended it for nondescript aches and pain that I might have had or what, but it did seem to "take the edge off."
