Not taking life too seriously can be fun for mom & kids

I found reason to smile when looking at the above; it shows the results of one mom letting her toddler pick out her clothes for a week...As she said, "Silliness is good for your kids and for your heart. Don’t take yourself to serious: they’re just clothes."

What a cute article! I can only imagine what I would have been wearing if I let my kids pick out my outfits. My daughter surely would have included sparkles of some sort and high heels for sure. Not sure what son would have chosen - probably jeans and plaid shirt!

For some reason, I found the mismatched shoes to be the most entertaining - and the fact nobody commented about it either means this mom is surrounded by very polite friends who didn't want to say anything, or else life also hectic for them, and that's too busy to notice her outfits!
