Are there any supplement approaches to help kids with ADD/ADHD wake in the morning. Next year my son will be going to a Junior College and I am concerned about him being able to wake on his own since he is so hard to wake in the morning and sleeps thru alarms. I read once that low histamine levels could be an issue.

I'm curious if your son has had his thyroid function tested? www.yahoo.com/health/sick-of-being-tired-sneaky-signs-your-thyroid-is-101079293687.html I also wonder if a different kind of alarm would work better. Young people seem to keep their cell phones and computers on all the time. I just did a quick "google" search for computer alarm clock, and this site is supposed to have freeware which can even allow a person to choose whatever noise/music they want to hear, to wake up to....Perhaps he can select some obnoxious song, or an air-raid siren, or fingernails scratching a chalkboard, or whatever else will cause him to get out of bed "to turn that awful noise off." bluefive.pair.com/alarm.htmOther alternative alarm clocks for heavy sleepers can be found at www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,20506099,00.html#
