I don't know how well this works nationwide, but I was trying to do a price comparison for my son's Adderall and I found the site www.bigapplerx.com/checkdrugprice ~ It allows a person to enter the name of their medication, as well as the dosage/quantity along with a zip code, to give a list of stores that are in the area. It shows pricing for both the "brand name" as well as "generic version" if available. You have to click on each store individually to see their rates, but I was impressed with the data it gave, listing both "Chain stores" like Walgreens, CVS, and Target, as well as "Mom and Pop" local pharmacies....It remains to be seen if my son can actually fill his next prescription at the prices listed online, but it seems like a good place to start!
