Hi. I just wanted to post this great web site for kids.
My dd has to read and take tests on books at school. It is the Accelerated Reading program. I think most schools in our area require it, I don't know if it is nationwide.
Anyway, a friend of mine told me about this site. After your child reads a book they can go to the bookadventure site and take a test on it and earn points to get free things. You can also put in your likes and it will point you toward books it thinks you might like. The test of course are not the test they take in school, but they can see if they understood the book or not, and it is just for fun. My dd likes to do that before she goes to school and take their test. It gives her some confidence.
