I had a PPT the end of June, for testing to begin on my son this school year. They've done a battery of testing, however I do not think they did an OT evaluation, which was the primary purpose of the PPT to begin with. I believe my son has a good deal of sensory issues along with problems in fine motor skills. His 4th grade teacher had him doing OT exercizes in class, which I just found out are not happening this year.
How should I handle this? Should I wait for the PPT in order to question why this wasn't done (I'm pretty sure I signed for it in June)? Should I contact the principal before hand and ask the question? The OT exercizes were not on a 504 or anything, which is why I wanted the eval done, in order to get it written down.
Any help anyone has would be appreciated.
