It has been a very busy summer for us, I have not been able to post much. ( Sorry). But we did get B's eval done. I do not have the formal written reprot yet but they did do a verbal wrap up at the end of the very long day!! They said she has a receptive language disorder and a math disorder. Also that her print probably would not improve much, but to keep encouraging the cursive it looks more promising. She also definitely needs to learn to key board. They said her ability to copy from the board or take notes would be very difficult with her handwriting issues and receptive language disorder, they reccomended she learn to key board soon. Also they reccommended touch math for her. She will be doing 2nd grade level math this year, so I need to figure out how to incorporate the touch math for her. ( She is actually in the 4th grade now). I think being in a private school is going to get a lot harder with the extra things they have reccomended for her. Well I just wanted to let you know how things were going with B. I am feeling pretty good, and Dh had another surgery this week. Hopefully the last for a long time. He is home now and resting comfortably. Hope to beable to post more reguarly now!! Hugs Shelli

Thanks everyone!! She starts back Monday. I am glad but also afraid of what is to come. I also will be looking forward to dropping her off in the morning and then grabbing some java and checking out the board in the mornings!!
