Just wondering if anyone else used this and liked it? i bought a few of the workbooks because my dd teacher said to work with her handwriting over the summer. She is doing cursive in school but I started her out in printing because she needs work in that area too.
It is so nice for lefthanded learners, they don't have to lift their arm to see what to write. Using a regular book when they write their arm covers half of the page.
thanks, nat

We have started the printing but not the cursive, so far I like it. My daughters printing has improved. Hoping it will do the same for cursive. nat

I used it for both my boys, one ADD/In (Print and cursive) and one "normal" for cursive. I liked it and it was helpful.

HI My 9 yo dd in fourth grade has been having a hard time with the increase in writing assignments. I am finding that either she writes fast and sloopy, on no meds, or she writes excrutiately slow in order to make it neat. I know she wants her writing to be better but there doesnt seem to be a middle ground with her. I think the more compulsive tendencies for perfect lettering is a side effect of the meds, just getting worse as the new school year progresses and she is required to do more writing. SO, anyone else with this problem and if so did the handwriting without tears help? What is this program exactly. Thanks Nancy

This program demonstrates a very simple way to do cursive. There are no fancy loops, just very plain straighforward lettering. It helped my dd some, but when she is in a hurry, she goes back to her very very hard to read cursive. I originally bought it because she is a lefty and her handwriting is HORRIBLE. It is a program set up for lefty and righty. there is a web site, you may want to google it. i dont know it off hand, i think it is www.hwtears.com but I am not positive. nat

The dirstrict I work for uses it in the SLD kindergarten classes. I found that it was great for the students that were using it. I wish I was working there when my son was younger because by the time I found out about it, it was too late! I think it's great.
