Hello All, I just got my monthly email from Dr. David Rabiner of Duke University from the www.helpforadd.com website. His topic this month was the well-documented research that has just been done training ADHD kids (all subtypes) in attention with computer programs. I really don't know much about Dr. Rabiner, but this sounded very interesting. I've seen companies such as "Brain Train" and "Play Attention" advertising their computer attention training CD's. I wonder if any of you have ever tried those products or have any comments? It is an interesting article. If you want to read it go to the above website and look for the email dated around 3/15/05. Thanks for any help or info! Horst

There is someone on Schwablearning.org doing the Play attention now. The Jury is still out as to whether it is helping. Someone else tried, then the child go bored after a while.

I have read good things about it but can't locate the links right now. Most of the computer training that I have researched was done in the providor's office and was along the lines of biofeedback. I would love to try something like that, but am not sure about spending the money for the programs for home without knowing how others have fared.
I am very interested in this type thing and would love to hear what you find out.
