Wish me luck! This is the first IEP with the administrators/staff at the new school. Several of them sat in on meetings last year, when they were trying to get me to move S, but it was really the admins at the old school who IMHO were e-v-i-l t*ngue I don't have any major gripes going in, but I have some academic questions, and am still trying to get some OT services at school. I just hope it's not as ugly as last years' (I don't think it will be, but I'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best!)

it didn't even feel like an IEP meeting! It was just the teacher, the principal of the Center and I, and it was quite pleasant actually The teacher adjusted some of the goals to be more specific and to actually state how S could reach these goals. They also agreed to have her assessed for OT (finally!!) at school. We all agreed that S is doing well academically, and buying into the program, and that it is premature to talk about mainstreaming, but also discussed goals that would move her closer to mainstreaming, and how it would be done (start mainstreaming with a class she really enjoys, such as science or social studies) Overall it went well! Thanks for asking
