December 19 on Nickelodeon at 8:30pm there is a show being hosted by Linda Ellerbee and Dr Phil called What's Wrong With Me. It is about kids with ADHD/ODD/LD and other disorders. They will be talking to kids with these disorders. This might be worth watching with our kids.
I wasn't sure where to post so that is why it is here.

I dunno. Linda Ellerbee is usually pretty good/ok. Phil's ADHD "expertise" is a disaster.
I don't like the name of the show "what's wrong with me". Maybe I'm being naive but we've been careful to handle with dd as ADHD is a difference not something that's bad.

Good point about the title. Not a good choice. I agree Linda Ellerbee is okay but Dr. Phil is highly questionable. I'm sure Nickelodeon has good intentions though.

I posted the text from the link that ohmama had given in the parenting section...take a look and see what you think. If they do what they say, the way they say it, it should be an OK show. I've already decided to tape it and preview it, so I can decide if I want C to watch it or not.

I am not going to watch it!! I am still mad at Dr. Phil over his last show he gave on adhd!! ( I am very mature, can't you tell? LOL!).
He better not make me post another big neon scroolling BOO DOCTOR PHIL post again. l*ser
