I'll post this at Schwab also but I know you ladies probably have a ton of experience on this as well.
My son, 10 years old, ADHD, ODD, seizure disorder. Taking no meds yet, probably will be by next week. Anyway, he's always managed fairly well in school. We've been blessed with strong, competent teachers who have managed to handle him well. This year, we are not so lucky combined with the fact that he is worse than ever. Long story short. He's been in therapy for a month, has seen a new psych who sent him to a new neuro (nov 2)
I have to meet with this total witch of a teacher probably today. How much should I tell her? Keep in mind this is just his math teacher. His homeroom teacher who has him most of the day already knows. I'm wondering though, are they going to want to write an IEP or 504. If so, is that something I should want them to do?

I personally think the homeroom teacher, or when a IEP is done the teacher of record can help you educate the staff. I wonder if you do get a IEP is his math bad enough to have it moved for a slower pace and a resource room math.
Thats what I did for Derrick's this year. He has a diagnosis of seizures for many years.
If you share things wiht the teachers they can help document too. Also its better if it comes.

I would ask for a IEp or evaluation for Other Health Impairment, all things would fall in this category.
