Last year my ds had problems completing his school work without constant reminders from his teachers. If the responsibility at school was left for him to finish his project (done at school), chances are he would be the last to finish or not get them finished at all. So the teacher always ends up having to do one on one with him to make sure it gets done long after it was due. Well, his meds must be working because today he got a call from a classmate, who was asking him questions about what to do with a project they were working on . I asked my son why this child was calling him for instructions, and my son say "because I am one of two kids who have completed the project." Normally it is the other way around, and I have to call other kids because my child cannot remember what he is supposed to do. In fact, his teacher complimented him on his work on this project as well. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Boy would I love to be a fly on the wall in his class room. He has been doing his homework with no problems and knows all the work. Wahoo!!! I am enjoying this feeling tonight.

My DS is also having a wonderful year so far. He had all A's and B's on his progress reports, Has been doing his work and going into school early for tutoring. He likes all his teachers this year, and they have told him they are proud of his work and how mature he has been so far. He is in 8th this year, and I cant believe the diffrence in him. He is even trying out for a UIL math competetion team. Dont you just love it when things are going so good for our kids? It makes all the hard work and all the fighting for them worth it.
