I was at my son's school last week and ran into my son's teacher for the coming up school year. She knows who my son is (small school) and said she has spoken with his second grade teacher about him. We didn't have time to go into many details but I'm sure she told her all the bad things and none of the good. So, once again, my son has been labeled.
I will meet with her Friday to discuss DS "problems". She is a very kind hearted and easy going teacher, doesn't raise her voice very often (opposite of last years teacher). I want to give her copies of articles about ADHD. I have found a few things to take her but not enough. Does anyone know of any great website that I can find useful information to give her?

Have you tried www.schwablearning.org ? They have tons of info that might help you. When I was having a problem with my ds special ed teacher this past year I went to this site and printed lots of info. and took it with me to an iep meeting that I had set up. There was another teacher who helps my son as well and I showed her the website and she said she wanted to check it out because it does have lots of good info--this teacher works with our school district thru the ISD program--the teacher I was having a hard time with is employed with the school and the ISD teacher was agreeing with me the whole way it was the special ed teacher that was giving me problems. Needless to say once I started bringing out my copies of what I knew the school had to do the stitutation changed and in the end I got what placement my son deserved.

Another good site for getting ADHD info is www.LDonline.org - just go for the articles and not the forum. There are some anti-med, anti-adhd people in the forum. But the articles on LDs are good.
