It's hard about the lying, but he may not be lying about the meds. Strattera is VERY weight dependent, and since he has been on it for two yrs without any increase and he has grown, I think you might find a difference by raising it to may 70mgs first. Do not go straight to 100mgs. Increase slowly. See if 70mgs help, if not than go to 75mgs, if not than 80mgs. You will be amazed at what 5 mgs can do.

Mayleng is right about being amazed about how the right dose is important. Matt was on 60mg- which seemed fine until he went through a growth spurt and gained 20 lbs. He is now 120 and had his Strattera raised to 80. The change was amazing. He still has slips and we do not take him for his word when it comes to how he is doing in school. I will say this year (he's a freshman) has been 100% better than last. Good Luck

Wow my big boy is over 160, he may need more then. I think he was about 120 when we started, they all grow so fast who knows what he weighed. I will ask the Dr.
I truly appreciate yall helping me. I think I have been so mad that any excuse is not okay right now. You guys have given him a new light, which I am sure he will be grateful for.

One thing with strattera is you have to keep an eye on the weight and if things change, chances are the dosage needs adjusting.
By the way, you have a few welcome messages in the Introduction thread.

Update TD has caught up on Algebra, stayed until 5 going over his new homework with his teacher. I really love her. Biology well he says yes, but we are doing a stinkin project so I am not sure. I may email her before Friday. English he did the work.
So for now he should be in good shape. We did start the DHA so really I am thinking about cancelling the Dr appt. He seems back to himself again. If he can get away with less meds the better off he is.
So for now we are doing fine so far.
