A question has been asked in another post, regarding a high school student who is in the process of being evaluated by the public school for an IEP, about whether "personality testing" will be done. The student sees a private therapist, and apparently the therapist wondered if the school would do it. Can anyone elaborate on what it is, and which tests might be given?
(I'm familiar with the Myers-Briggs personality test, for example, but I don't think I've ever heard of a K-12 school administering that as part of an educational eval.)

My son's school actually does use the Myers-Briggs with all students (gen and special ed included) as one piece of data to help them understand themselves and determine preferences.
