Sorry about the typo (SRI-SMI) I was looking up scores on both and got them mixed up -- mother like daughter :-) I thought I would share this with everyone after the nightmare of searching I went through to find it. My dd just got through taking her first Scholastic Math Inventory (SMI) test of the year and I wanted to find out what the score meant. It was like pulling teeth to find the actual test info, but here it is. Pg 39, has the explanation of the scores and what the info tested and mastered at that score is. edproductsupport.scholastic.com/content/techsupport/smi/manuals/SMI_EG.pdfThe additional thing I learned reading this manual was that they have the ability to print out running assessment comparisons. I am hoping they will be able to source last years scores so we can see how much progress really has been made during her IEP next week. One would think the info would be in her file (?)
